About

Timber Green Bed & Breakfast

Timber Green Bed & Breakfast is a small guest house that offers comfortable overnight accommodation in the foothills of the beautiful Canadian Rockies. It is situated close to Rocky Mountain House, a town of about 7,000 an hour’s drive west of Red Deer. It is 2½ hours from Calgary, Edmonton and the Banff / Jasper National Park entrance.

The immediate surroundings offer plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors, with sport and recreational activities that include golf, whitewater rafting, canoeing, and trail riding to name a few. Nature abounds in the merging Clearwater and North Saskatchewan Rivers as well as the nearby National mountain parks. Historic sites interpret the early development of the area at Nordegg (coal mining) and Rocky Mountain House National Historic Site (the fur trade and Aboriginal peoples).

With a multitude of recreational facilities, all the amenities (like dining, shopping, automotive and RV repair) to be found in a welcoming and friendly community, your hosts Louise and John invite you to come out and enjoy an uncrowded nature experience, be it to find peace and relaxation, or to pursue recreation, history and adventure.

Our Mission

We aim to provide our guests at Timber Green Bed and Breakfast with a friendly, relaxed setting as the base for a memorable overnight stay or vacation experience. We strive to offer the modern comforts of home in a warm ambience, combined with exceptional service.

Further we seek to share the experience of being or living close to nature, where kids and grownups alike are able to observe the animals and plants in their natural habitat, a privilege which today is no longer granted to all.
